North West Children’s Service
Our North West Service is a 4-bed children’s residential care home that delivers a trauma-informed approach to our children working closely with the staff teams to provide a safe, homely, and nurturing environment where the young people are supported to build resilience as they create a life they choose to live and resume self-control and responsibility for their behaviour. This home provides therapeutic care, in a residential setting for young people of either gender, aged between 12-18 years. All young people who have encountered a traumatic experience, have behavioural or mental health difficulties, and/or have experienced or are at risk of sexual exploitation. Young people are encouraged by positive role models to take an active role within the community, contribute to society and prepare for adulthood and independence. The staff they can trust will offer praise and encouragement to achieve their individual goals and aspirations.
“You have allowed me to have experiences I never thought I would have the chance to fulfill, I appreciate everything you have done to help me achieve one of the best years of my life”
