Learning and Development

We don’t follow a ‘one size fits all’ approach to learning at Salutem. We recognise the unique talents of each team member and shape their training experience based on what they need to do a great job.

Where we see potential, we’ll help you develop your skills and provide you with opportunities to progress in your career. And where you need extra support, or you need to refresh your skills, we’ll make a programme to help you get up to speed.

We recognise transferable skills and acknowledge the value that certain life experiences bring.

Whether working in care is your first, second or third career, we’ll make sure you receive the best training for you.

Inclusion and Diversity

At Salutem Care and Education, inclusion and diversity are not mere buzzwords; they are foundational pillars that shape our ethos. We deeply understand that every individual brings a unique tapestry of experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives that enrich our community. By valuing and championing diversity, we create an environment where every voice is heard, every identity is respected, and every individual feels a sense of belonging. We do this through our listening form of SELF Reps (Salutem Employee Listening Forum) and Salutem Voices, which gives our staff and individuals we support a voice.

Our commitment to inclusion ensures that every person, regardless of their race, gender, disability, religion, or socio-economic background, is provided with equal opportunities to thrive, learn, and grow. This holistic approach not only enriches the experiences of those we serve but also drives the innovative and empathetic spirit of Salutem Care and Education, making us a beacon of hope and a model for inclusive excellence.

“It’s one thing to attract great talents, it’s another to keep them. A great management with great team playing spirit across various interactive teams delivering top service is the experience Salutem has accorded me with. I’m immensely grateful for the opportunity to grow and learn. Salutem is a place I will always recommend. Its home away from home”

Michael Soyoge

“I can’t even begin to express just how enjoyable my journey with Salutem has been thus far. To not only work within such an amazing team but to first hand see the impact that I, as a member of the recruitment team has on the company is just truly wonderful. Seeing the difference this makes to the individuals we support is why I do what I do, and why I love it! I wish I could have said more in my testimonial, but when you are asked to do these kinds of things the right words never come to your mouth!”

Louise West – Resourcing Coordinator

“Starting at Salutem 4 years ago, I didn’t expect to be where I am today. It’s helped me to grow, develop and expand as an individual. I’ve been truly blessed with brilliant management and great opportunities. 4 years in and I still feel as if I have many more ventures to go with Salutem. Salutem is an inspiring company to work for and I’m grateful to be on a journey of expansion with them.”
