Our staff and the people we support at St. Peter’s Home in Watford have now all received the first dose of their vaccinations against COVID-19.

Our family at St. Peter’s were pleased to receive the vaccine, which represents a significant step towards a return to normality for the care home on Louvain Way. They’re now calling on the public to have the jab as soon as they’re able, to speed up the reopening of society.

Zeana, a person we support at St Peter’s, said: “I think we should all take the protection of the vaccine for the future, and make it work. Our lives are important. Please get the vaccine and stay at home as much as you can.”

Seema Khadun, manager of St Peter’s home, said: “We are thrilled that we have been able to provide residents with the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. It will change the lives of our residents and provides us with hope that the pandemic will end soon.”

John Godden MBE, CEO, added: “The distribution of this vaccine is a fantastic way to start the new year – 2021! There is real hope now, that as more and more vulnerable people like our wonderful residents at St Peter’s Home receive this lifechanging inoculation, a return to normal life is just around the corner.”
