Carrick is a spacious five-bedroom bungalow providing specialist support for people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and sensory needs.
Situated in the peaceful village of Playing Place, just a few miles south of Truro, Carrick offers a welcoming and comfortable home environment. The property features a spacious open-plan lounge and dining area, a separate kitchen, and three bathrooms – including two shared bathrooms in the main house and a private wet room within the annexe.
Outside, the people we support can enjoy a secure, enclosed garden, predominantly laid to lawn, providing an attractive space for relaxation and outdoor activities. The home also benefits from a dedicated sensory and relaxation room, designed to create a calming and engaging environment tailored to individual needs.
“I ran a 1.5 hour training session re a client’s occupational and sensory needs, attended by a good number of the staff team. All attendees partook well and came across as very motivated to the learning opportunities gained from the session. Based on this session, the staff team come across as a cohesive team. They clearly value this client, seeming keen to improve his occupational lifestyle. The team appeared sensitive to his occupational needs, and to his autistic needs”
