At Salutem, we proudly celebrate Neurodiversity Week, embracing the many ways people think, learn, and experience the world. This week is all about raising awareness, breaking down barriers, and championing inclusion—not just for the people we support, but for our incredible employees too.
We believe that everyone deserves to feel valued, included, and empowered to thrive. By recognising and celebrating neurodiversity, we create a more inclusive world where different perspectives and strengths are embraced.
Neurodiversity: A Lifelong Experience
Neurodiversity is not limited to any specific age group or diagnosis—it affects people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether in childhood, adolescence, or adulthood, neurodivergent individuals bring unique perspectives, creativity, and problem-solving skills that enrich our communities, workplaces, and schools. Recognising and accommodating neurodiversity ensures that individuals receive the right support at every stage of life, whether that be in education, employment, or social environments.
By fostering an understanding of neurodiversity, we move away from a one-size-fits-all approach and embrace the strengths and differences that make us unique. When we create environments that support neurodivergent individuals, we empower people of all abilities to reach their full potential.
Championing Neurodiversity at Cavendish View School

Last year, Cavendish View School proudly hosted the ADHD Foundation’s Umbrella Project, a powerful initiative designed to raise awareness and celebrate neurodiversity. The project represents a significant step forward in supporting, including, and celebrating children with ADHD. Through this initiative, we continue to break down barriers and broaden understanding—not just within our school, but across the wider community.
The Umbrella Project aims to highlight the strengths and talents of children with ADHD, advocating for a positive perception and greater appreciation of neurodiversity. By shifting the narrative to focus on abilities rather than challenges, we encourage an environment where every child feels empowered to succeed.

By celebrating Neurodiversity Week, we reaffirm our dedication to creating a world where differences are valued, inclusion is a priority, and everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Let’s continue to champion neurodiversity and make a meaningful difference together!
