Michael Albero is a registered consultant social worker (Wales), and is Group Head of Regulation and Compliance in the Quality and Governance division at Salutem Care and Education. 

He leads on regulatory liaison and assists staff across the organisation who are appointed ‘Responsible Individual’ with their regulator. He oversees compliance with standards of care and provides training and support to new managers about their legal regulatory responsibilities. He keeps an eye on any adverse inspection reports, looking for any systemic weaknesses or gaps in policy and procedure.  

As the Data Protection Officer, he is supported by two Information and Systems Officers who lead on Nourish, Policy, Data Compliance, and Systems Management.    

Outside of work, Michael is a Tree Warden and former trustee of the charity that owned Barclays Bank account number one!
