John Godden

CEO

John founded Salutem in 2016 with the ambition to build an organisation that would provide a strong culture of care. This was done through the acquisition of great care services that were not being fully enabled to thrive and growing next generation care and specialist education facilities. He is focussed on building a strong culture of excellence in both care delivery, employee enablement and development. Having spent many years working in the City, he and his founder colleagues, have sought to bring the benefits of solid financial management. This provides for a highly stable, supportive environment in which care can flourish and fulfil the ambitions of all those receiving it or giving it.

Prior to establishing Salutem, he was the Chairman of The Regard Partnership and ACH Group during the merger between the two. His involvement in all aspects of M&A, corporate management, home management and commissioner interaction gives him a broad insight into the best and worst practices in the sector. Before getting involved in care, John had a career in the City and was head of the european business of HFR asset management, a $4bn provider of hedge fund of fund solutions, a director at Barclays Capital and further roles at BNPParibas and Sciens.

“It is such a privilege to follow the progress and share the joy and happiness of those in our care who are thriving in their homes and schools.”
