The King’s Trust supports young people aged 11 to 30 who may be facing challenges or barriers to employment, helping them build confidence, develop new skills, and access exciting career opportunities.
Last year alone, over 67,000 young people across the UK received support through The King’s Trust’s education, employment, and enterprise programmes.

Help Every Step of the Way
Getting into work can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when costs and paperwork start adding up. That’s why The King’s Trust can provide support with obtaining important identification and right-to-work documents, including financial assistance where needed.
Once you’ve secured a role with Salutem, The King’s Trust may also be able to help with travel costs during your first few weeks, covering expenses such as bus fares, train tickets, or fuel cards, helping you start your new job with confidence.

- Be not currently in education, employment or training (NEET)
- Be based in the UK and have the right to work
- Be ready to start work

In Partnership with The King’s Trust, all successful candidates aged 18-30 can access FREE support to help them transition into their role with greater confidence and ongoing support.
You’ll receive:
- Support with our onboarding process
- Sector-specific knowledge to support your role
- A dedicated 1-to-1 mentor for guidance and questions
- Six months of free support after starting employment
- Free access to MYNDUP, a mental health provider, to support your wellbeing

After finishing university, I was unsure about which career path to pursue. I was recommended The King’s Trust Get Started in Social Care course – an area I hadn’t considered before.
I approached the week long course with an open mind and a willingness to learn about a new industry. It provided valuable insight into the health and social care sector and introduced me to Salutem, whose core values, such as loyalty, really resonated with me.
