At Cavendish View School, we are proud to celebrate the incredible journeys of our colleagues who help create a supportive and inspiring environment for our learners. Today, we’re delighted to shine a spotlight on Ellie Knight, a dedicated PBS Practitioner, whose passion and progression truly reflect the values of Cavendish View.
Ellie joined Cavendish View in February 2024 as a PBS Assistant Practitioner. Her commitment and enthusiasm quickly stood out, and in May 2025, after successfully completing her Level 4 Positive Behaviour Support qualification, Ellie was promoted to PBS Practitioner. This achievement highlights both her dedication and the strong culture of growth and development we foster at Cavendish View.
Ellie has always been passionate about specialist education. She shares:
“I studied Childhood and Youth Studies, specialising in Autism at university, and have always known that specialist education was where I wanted to end up!”
For Ellie, working at Cavendish View means being part of a supportive and collaborative team:
“The team here is so supportive, and that makes all the difference.”
Her favourite memory so far?
“Visiting Chester Zoo last year with all the children and their parents/carers, it was such a fantastic day!”
Ellie’s journey is a wonderful example of how passion and perseverance can lead to growth and success. We’re proud to have her as part of the Cavendish View family.
